How Long is a High School Soccer Game?

A high school soccer game is typically 80 minutes plus stoppage time. Since soccer is split into two halves, each half is 40 minutes long.

How long does it take to watch a game? It will take approximately two hours of real-time to watch a soccer game. This includes halftime and potential stoppage time. For example, If a high school soccer game starts at 4 pm, it will end at about 6 pm.

If you have little kiddos watching with you, be sure to bring plenty of snacks!

Side note: Your high school may differ depending on the state and league rules. On most occasions, each match is 80 or could 90 minutes.
