Summer FOMO

Soccer Parents & Players,
It’s easy to get caught up in the hype of finding the best summer soccer programs.
From the “best Instagram soccer trainers” to the best ID camps, and everything in between. Getting FOMO over these things will make you think that you aren’t doing enough.
It’s never enough because there is always something you could be doing.
What’s enough??
It’s enough to go out and train by yourself or with a teammate. It’s enough to do a 30-minute workout consistently. It’s enough to run 3 miles. It’s enough to come up with a plan to stick to. It’s enough to play pickup with your teammates.
The other stuff is just gravy.
The summer goes by fast. Yes, players can get better in the summer but they don’t need to keep going to the latest and “greatest”.
Sometimes all they need to do is stay active.
Want to get better? Spend the time in the background. Do things that will get you stronger and faster. Don’t let social media influence what you do.
Come back in the fall ready to put in the work.
Sometimes it’s better to save that money, time, and headache so you can enjoy the summer.
Your Friend,
Beau
