One is Better Than Zero

Are you looking to become a better player this year? Here’s the secret formula…
๐ Effort + Consistency + Time = Development
If you want to be the best player you can be, you need to put in the work consistently over time.
Stop looking for the “lucky break”.
You control your own destiny and it starts with understanding that something is better than nothing.
Instead of getting caught up with what drills to do, freestyle it with cones. Get your touches in.
Instead of binging Outer Banks, go for a 3-mile run.
Instead of hanging out at the mall (do teens still do that?), get the crew together to do some small-sided scrimmages.
Set a goal to do 15 pushups and 10 calf raises every day.
You’ll see exponential progress when you put in the daily effort over a long enough time (more than six months).
It’s that easy.
But, it’s also that easy to avoid.
When you put in the work, magic happens.
When you avoid putting in the work, frustration and regret set in.
Don’t wish for it. Work for it.
Now, what are you going to do TODAY?
