Anti-Diet For Youth Soccer Players
It’s really hard to get our kids to eat healthy. I’ve tried it for many years. I’ve seen many other parents struggle.
Do you feel this too? The struggle is absolutely real.
For this reason, I’ve encouraged the anti-diet for my kids.
It’s not a strict diet where they have to eat this and all of that. No, no, no. They won’t do it! As adults, we even have a difficult time sticking to a diet.
Instead, I encourage them to eat something healthy with [insert whatever food].
If you live with me for a week, you’ll often hear me say, “Have a banana with that”.
I think this is more effective.
So, next time they have a slice of pizza or chicken nuggets, encourage them to have an apple or broccoli with it.
You aren’t restricting what they can eat. You are simply adding more to their plate. One healthier option 🙂
