How to Find ECNL Standings
Once you’ve found your specific league standings (or “table” as they call it overseas), I would bookmark it in your browser so it’s easily accessible.
To add a page to your bookmark bar in Google Chrome…
- On a Mac: Command + D
- On a PC: Ctrl + D
- Or, click on the star icon next to the address bar
In each ECNL table, you’ll notice abbreviations. Here’s what they mean:
- POS = Position
- GP = Games Played
- GF = Goals For
- GA = Goals Against
- GD = Goal Differential
- PPG = Points per Game
- PTS = Points (Total)

What’s the Point of Tracking Scores & Standings?
As a player, I think keeping tabs on your competition within your league is helpful. As you play more in the same league, you’ll get familiar with the style of play of other teams.
Knowing this, you can make adjustments.
For example, a certain team may have excellent strikers and you can tell that they are scoring about five goals per game.
Knowing this as a coach or player, I understand that it is going to be important for midfielders and defenders to step up and impede their offensive attack.
Understanding where you are compared to your competition can be beneficial every week. It helps players and coaches to prepare for upcoming games. I think this is a healthy aspect of club sports!
