Here are some tips to help you get started:

• Use a rebounder and/or a soccer goal: You don’t need tons of training equipment. You can use a soccer rebounder to act as a teammate. Small touches are a big part of the game. A rebounder allows for more repetition without the need for another body. 
• Practice ball control: Dribbling is an essential part of soccer, and practicing it in your backyard can help you improve your offensive game. Set up cones or other obstacles to dribble around, or just practice dribbling in a straight line. Change of pace is important.
