MLS NEXT Tier 2 marks an important expansion of Major League Soccer’s youth development ecosystem. This new competitive tier bridges the gap between more soccer clubs and the MLS NEXT platform, creating additional pathways for talented young players nationwide.

Designed to provide high-quality competition for developing players not yet at Tier 1 level, MLS NEXT Tier 2 features regionally organized divisions that minimize travel while fostering top-notch competition.
