U-15 USYNT Competing in Vlatko Markovic Tournament in Croatia
The USYNT U-15 men’s team is heading to Croatia to play four games:
- May 15 vs. Croatia: 11:30 a.m. ET
- May 16 vs. England: 5:30 a.m. ET
- May 17 vs. Morocco: 5:30 a.m. ET
- May 19 Placement Game – USA vs. TBD
Head Coach, Tom Heinemann, leads a roster of 24 players. They consist of players born on or after January 1, 2009.
MLS Academies are well represented in this group. 22 players hail from academy teams. Manuel Romero is the only player currently playing overseas (Real Madrid).
Watching many of these kids play in MLS Next showcases, I can 100% confirm they are a talented group of players. Along with the 2008 (currently U-16) group, the future looks very bright for Team USA.
