Over 700 youth soccer teams will battle it out in the coming weeks for the ECNL Regional League playoffs. This concludes the 2024/2025 season for the league.

What Are the ECNL Regional Playoffs?

The top-performing ECNL Regional League teams from across America have earned their way into this month-long tournament. Each team has found success in the 2024/2025 season.

The four regions host teams from surrounding areas, making travel more manageable for families while creating intense competition.

The Four Regional Events

  • Central: Missouri (June 6-10) – Three venues in St. Charles, O’Fallon, and Fenton
  • South: Fort Worth, Texas (June 13-17) – Rolling Hills Soccer Complex
  • West: Norco, California (June 13-17) – Silverlakes Sports Park
  • East: Browns Summit, North Carolina (June 27-July 1) – Bryan Park Soccer Complex

How It Works

  • Ages U13-U17: Sixteen teams split into four groups. Each team plays three group games, then group winners play in finals. The two finalists from each region advance to National Finals in Virginia.
  • Ages U18/19: Eight teams per gender split into two groups. Group winners play for the regional championship – no advancement to nationals.

National Finals in Virginia

The qualifying teams compete in Richmond, Virginia in July:

  • Boys: July 11-14
  • Girls: July 12-15
  • Format: Eight-team knockout bracket (one loss eliminates you)
  • Venues: West Creek Complex and VACU Fields at Striker Park

Why This Matters

Recognizing the top teams something to strive for and should not be ignored.

College coaches attend these events to scout talent. The high level of competition means scouts can watch many top players in one place. Many athletes have earned scholarships after standout playoff performances.

The geographic setup is smart because it lets regional colleges easily scout players, giving more athletes exposure to schools they might not otherwise reach.
