USYS November 2025 Event Details (Mesa, Arizona)

Youth soccer players from across the country will compete in an exciting winter tournament starting October 31st in Mesa, Arizona. This first National League Winter Event of the 2025-26 season brings together some of the best youth teams in America.
TL;DR:
Game Schedule is Now Live
The complete game schedule is ready for teams and families to view online. But there’s something important to remember about the timing – Arizona doesn’t change their clocks like most other states do!
Here’s what parents and players need to know about game times:
- October 31 and November 1: Games follow Pacific time
- November 2 and November 7-9: Games follow Mountain time
- The online schedule shows times based on where you’re looking from
Players and families should pay close attention to these time changes when planning travel, especially for flights after Sunday games.
How the Tournament Works
The winter event includes teams in five age groups: 14U, 15U, 16U, 17U, and 19U. Each age group gets split into small groups of four teams. Every team plays three games over three days against the other teams in their group.
What’s at Stake
This isn’t just a regular tournament – there are big prizes for the winning teams! Teams that finish first in their group earn a direct ticket to the 2026 US Youth Soccer National Championships. That’s like getting a golden ticket to the biggest youth soccer event in the country.
Most second-place teams also get a shot at the National Championships. If they don’t make it there, they still advance to something called The National League Cup Playoffs.
Two Tournament Events This Season
This November event is the first of two winter tournaments. The second one happens January 30 through February 1, 2026, when both boys and girls will play at the same time.
Tournament director Marc Frankland is excited about what’s coming. “National League events are always an exciting opportunity to bring together talented players on proven teams, and there’s even more to play for this year,” he said. “With advancement to postseason competitions on the line, it will be a great atmosphere full of high-energy games.”
