This might be the most amazing college goal you’ll see.
In a thrilling end to their ACC Tournament opener, the Notre Dame men’s soccer team fell to Stanford in a close 3-2 match.
With only 12 seconds left, Notre Dame’s Mitch Ferguson scored a dramatic equalizer, tying the game at 2-2.
But in a stunning twist, Stanford’s Dylan Hooper responded right after the restart with a long-range shot, finding the net with just one second remaining to clinch the victory for the Cardinal.
It was American football’s equivalent to a Hail Mary! Check it out…
This last-second goal delivered a crushing blow to the Fighting Irish. They now turn their focus to the NCAA Tournament selection show on November 18, hoping for a chance to continue their season.
