National Academy League: Mid-Atlantic Girls

The National Academy League (NAL) recently announced its inaugural season starting in 2023. It was originally a boys-only league that had the possibility of being a top-tier youth soccer league.
It’s quickly grown and is comparable to ECNL in some areas including the northeast.
The NAL added two girls’ leagues to start the season – New England and Northeast U14-U19.
In early 2024, the NAL announced they were organizing a Mid-Atlantic division for girls. This is big and will include clubs:
- Sporting Athletic Club
- Real Jersey Football Club
- Baltimore Celtic
- Cedar Stars
- Pennsylvania Classics
- SJEB FC
The anticipated start date is the fall of 2024. I think we’ll end up seeing more regions take to the NAL. It may mirror divisions from the boy’s side (pic below).
Stay tuned for some more announcements from the NAL Girls!
