MLS NEXT Awards for 2023/2024 Season
MLS NEXT recently announced the MVPs and other awards for the 2023/2024 season.
For the four age groups, U-15, U-16, U-17, and U-19, the Most Valuable Player, Goal of the Year, and Sportsmanship Award were given to the select players.
The MVPs, presented by Adidas, were selected for their performance as well as their team’s contributions. I can say confidently that this won’t be the last time you hear the following names.

U-15 Awards
- MVP: Kaedren Spivey (San Jose Earthquakes)
- Goal of the Year: Noah Lopez (Sacramento United) – watch
- Sportsmanship Award: Lanier Soccer Association
U-16 Awards
- MVP: Xavier Krause (Queen City Mutiny)
- Goal of the Year: Miguel Ruiz (SC Del Sol) – watch
- Sportsmanship Award: PA Classics
U-17 Awards
- MVP: Stefan Chirila (FC Cincinnati)
- Goal of the Year: Noah Santos (Portland Timbers) – watch
- Sportsmanship Award: PA Classics
U-19 Awards
- MVP: Dean Boltz (Sockers FC)
- Goal of the Year: Fernando Duarte (Breakers FC) – watch
- Sportsmanship Award: Oakwood Soccer Club
