MLS Launches MLS GO

On May 23, 2023, Major League Soccer (MLS) in conjunction with RCX Sports, launched a recreational soccer program called MLS GO. This new program is designed to increase participation and access for boys and girls aged 4 to 14 outside of the existing soccer ecosystem.
Powered by MLS, MLS GO engages with existing community organizations and local recreation programs to provide a fun, affordable, local soccer experience.
The program aims to provide access to soccer for children who may not have had the opportunity to play before, and to increase participation in soccer across the United States.
MLS Sr. Director of Properties Kyle Albrecht said, “MLS GO will provide an opportunity for children across the country to play soccer and create a direct connection between our MLS clubs and future soccer fans,”

The MLS GO program will get its debut this coming fall in 18 markets. More markets will be introduced as well.
The pilot markets include:
- Birmingham, AL
- Charlotte, NC
- Cincinnati, OH
- Columbus, OH
- Dallas, TX
- Denver, CO
- Detroit, MI
- Foxborough, MA
- Las Vegas, NV
- Los Angeles, CA
- New Orleans, LA
- New York, NY
- Orlando, FL
- Philadelphia, PA
- Phoenix, AZ
- Seattle, WA
- Washington DC
- Milwaukee, WI (spring 2024)
MLS GO is part of MLS’s broader efforts to grow the game of soccer in the United States and Canada. In recent years, MLS has expanded its footprint, adding new teams and attracting top talent from around the world. This includes MLS NEXT and MLS NEXT PRO.
We are very excited to see what comes out of MLS GO. For more information on MLS GO, check out their official website.
