Logan Moniz Verbally Commits to Duke University

Among the emerging talents in New England youth soccer, Logan Moniz of the Boston Bolts has made a significant career decision, verbally committing to Duke University.
The dynamic 2008-born player, who caught scouts’ attention at the recent National Academy Showcase at IMG Academy, will be taking his talents to the prestigious ACC program.
Moniz embodies the modern attacking player, combining technical skill with relentless defensive pressure. What immediately stands out is his ability to seamlessly transition between phases of play – one moment leading an attack, the next fighting opponents to win back possession.
His finishing ability sets him apart from many of the players in his age group. In front of goal, Moniz displays composure beyond his years, capable of converting chances with both power and placement. This natural scoring instinct, paired with his attacking movement, makes him a constant threat in the final third.
As part of the Boston Bolts’ development system, Moniz benefits from one of the northeast’s premier youth soccer environments. The program’s track record of developing players bodes well for his continued progression as he prepares for his future collegiate career with the Blue Devils.
While still early in his development journey, Moniz’s combination of attacking flair, finishing ability, and defensive intensity makes him a player worth watching in the coming years. His commitment to Duke University represents a significant milestone in what promises to be an exciting soccer career.
Logan will be joined by teammate Ian Hecker.
