U17 USWNT To Compete in the 4 Nations Tournament in Mexico City

The U-17 Women’s National Team roster has been announced for the 4 Nations Tournament in Mexico City, where they’ll face Canada, Costa Rica, and Mexico from July 26-August 1, 2025.
TL;DR:
Tournament Details
The Americans face tough competition in Mexico City. They’ll play Canada on July 26, Costa Rica on July 29, and host Mexico on August 1. All games happen at Mexico’s High Performance Center.
This tournament is extra important because these Concacaf rivals didn’t face each other during World Cup qualifying. Now they get to see how they stack up before the big show in Morocco this fall.
“It’s an excellent opportunity for us to continue our group’s development against top Concacaf competition,” said head coach Katie Schoepfer.
Young and Talented Squad
This roster features mostly new faces. Only six players who played against Japan in June made this team, while 12 players return from the team that dominated Concacaf qualifying with a 17-0 score margin.
The team is super young – 18 players were born in 2008, with midfielder Loradana Paletta the youngest at just 14 years old.

These matches in Mexico City will be crucial preparation before the World Cup spotlight hits. For these young players, it’s a chance to prove they belong on the world stage.
