ECNL Boys Expands National Footprint with 5 Elite Clubs

ECNL Boys announces five new clubs for the 2025-26 season: AC Connecticut, East Coast FC, and Scorpions Soccer (all from New England) have earned promotion from ECNL Regional League, while Louisiana Fire (Mid-America) and St. Louis Stars (Heartland) join as direct entries.
These merit-based promotions reward consistent performance and professionalism across multiple age groups over time.
“The ECNL’s growth has been fueled by performance in the ECNL Regional League as well as identifying the best youth soccer clubs in the United States,” said ECNL Boys Commissioner Jason Kutney. “Merit-based decisions, and rewarding clubs for what they do on the field, is the best way to increase the quality and depth of soccer across the country.”
New Club Profiles
AC Connecticut (Newtown, CT, est. 2012) enters with strong momentum, currently having U13 and U14 teams in playoff positions. GM Robin Shuppert: “This is testament to our past players who have raised the standard of our club, but also a huge opportunity for our current and future players.”
East Coast FC (Long Island, NY, est. 2016) has three teams in playoff positions in just their second Regional League season. Boys DOC John Kokkoris: “This promotion provides great opportunities for our players to compete against elite level competition.”

Scorpions Soccer (Wrentham, MA, est. 1998) leads the Northeast North Division in U17 and competes strongly across all age groups. DOC Evan Burokas: “Developing student athletes for the collegiate ranks is a core value that Scorpions believes in.”
St. Louis Stars SC (St. Louis, MO, est. 2021) has quickly established itself with three city championships and a 2024 state title. Sporting Director Will Eskay: “ECNL offers the elite competition and exposure needed to take our players to the next level.”
