U.S. Soccer’s First Regional Mini-Camp of 2025 for U14 Girls’ Talent ID Program

The U.S. Soccer Federation will host its first regional mini-camp of 2025 as part of the Under-14 Girls’ Talent Identification Program from February 19-24 at the Elite Athlete Training Center in Chula Vista, California.

The camp will bring together 80 players born in 2011 from the West Region.

Under the leadership of U.S. Women’s National Team head coach Emma Hayes, the program emphasizes a female-centered approach to development.

The camp will be led by U.S. Soccer Director of Talent ID Nicole Lukic and West Region Senior Talent ID Manager Katie Cole, featuring an all-female coaching staff including nine coaches from the Women’s Youth National Team Scouting Network.

The U-14 TID Program aims to:

• Discover high-potential players through widespread scouting
• Build the player pool foundation for U-15 Girls’ National Teams
• Introduce players to The U.S. Way philosophy
• Provide education on nutrition, recovery, and self-evaluation
• Minimize travel through regional mini-camp structure

Additional U-14 TID Mini-Camps are scheduled for March in Atlanta (East region) and April in Austin, Texas (Central region).
