Huntsville City FC to Launch MLS NEXT Academy in 2025

Huntsville City FC is taking a major step in player development by joining MLS NEXT, the top youth soccer league in North America.

Starting in September 2025, the club will introduce U13 and U14 academy teams, with plans to expand to older age groups in the following years.

This move strengthens Huntsville’s role as a key player in the MLS pipeline and provides a direct pathway for young talent to progress toward professional soccer.

The academy will focus on elite training, top-tier competition, and a clear progression toward Huntsville City FC’s MLS NEXT Pro team and beyond.
