U-15 U.S. Women’s Youth National Team Roster Announced (2024 Concacaf Championship)
Ciara Crinion, the U.S. U-15 Women’s Youth National Team head coach, announced her roster for the 2024 Concacaf Girls’ U-15 Championship in Costa Rica.
The 18-player roster consists of athletes born on or after Jan. 1, 2009. The roster includes 16 players born in 2009, one in 2010 (Mak Whitham), and one in 2011 (Loradana Paletta).
This tournament will be held from Aug. 5-11 in Alajuela, Costa Rica. This will be the first time the USA will compete in a Concacaf U-15 Girls’ Championship outside of the country. The U.S. has won all previous competitions in 2016, 2018, and 2022.
In Group A of League A, the USA faces Jamaica on Aug. 5, Costa Rica on Aug. 6, and Haiti on Aug. 8.
Matches will be streamed on the Concacaf YouTube channel and Concacaf Go.
36 countries will be competing in this year’s tournament. This makes it the largest CONCACAF Girls’ U-15 Championship ever.
The tournament is divided into three leagues: League A (8 teams in Costa Rica), League B (16 teams in Trinidad & Tobago), and League C (12 teams in Aruba).
The top two from each group advance to the semifinals on Aug. 9, with the final on Aug. 11.
