The ECNL Boys Playoffs are one of the biggest youth soccer tournaments in the country. Only the very best teams from each age group get invited to play.
A playoff in this format gives elite teams a dose of their own medicine. Teams around the nation compete for the title. It doesn’t get any better than that!
How Do the ECNL Playoffs Work?
U18/19 Age Group
Thirty-two teams compete in knockout style. Win and keep playing, lose and you’re done. Winners become National Champions.
Teams that lose early get a second chance in the North American Cup.
U14-U17 Age Groups
For each age group, sixty-four teams split into groups of four. Each team plays three games. Group winners advance to knockout rounds. Those winners go to the bigger tournament in Richmond, Virginia.
U13 Age Group
Forty-eight teams in groups of four. They play three games each. Group winners plus the four best second-place teams advance to knockout rounds.
